LOW AND MODERATE INCOME
PGCC supports the Philadelphia Energy Authority’s work to make clean energy more accessible and affordable in Philadelphia. In support of PEA’s Solarize Philly program, PGCC works to reduce the cost of solar for low- and moderate-income households.
The Philadelphia Energy Authority launched Solarize Philly to make the process of installing solar as easy and affordable as possible for Philadelphia residents.
Any household, organization, or business that owns property in the City of Philadelphia is eligible to participate in Solarize Philly.
Solar Financing Support
PGCC supports PEA’s Solar Savings Grant Program, a component of Solarize Philly that makes solar accessible for Low- and Moderate-Income (LMI) households. Through creative financing support, including loan loss reserves and a revolving fund for the solar renewable energy credits generated by the operating solar projects, PGCC is making solar more affordable for current program participants and securing capital for future LMI installations.
